  • Responsibilities

    Summary Responsible for managing all digital projects from concept to completion including site launches for maintenance and feature updates and additional web applications. Ensures all the necessary deliverables for each project are completed on time and on budget. He/she represents the organization externally as well as working collaboratively within the digital team.

    • Manages the scheduling and planning of all digital projects and leads production teams on project priorities and status using agile methodology.
    • Manages and schedules ongoing requests from stakeholders to create, modify, and otherwise revise content in digital products.
    • Manages relationships written and oral with internal and external parties for scheduling, scoping, resourcing, and communicating in collaborative projects related to web-based and interactive deployments.
    • Creates and enforces flow, requirements, and documentation necessary for supporting agile teams assembled to produce digital methods that interact with the public.
    • Collaborates with business analysts and other project managers to consolidate data into user stories and plan for project requirements and integrated workflows and data flows.
    • Employs and recommends software that allows tracking of interactive products from their inception through their development, approval, and release, and allows the development of charts and other artifacts visually representing workflows through the stages of life for new and existing products.
    • Manages specific user experience/strategic market analysis/UAT/QA processes in the life cycle of new and existing products and digital interactive tools

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5 years of experience in project management with html/CSS tools in a comparable industry environment
    • Web savvy, and experience with CMS requirements and environments
    • Proven success in projects related to digital strategy, design, usability, content development, web development, QA, and CRM.
    • Hands on experience with project management software such as Jira
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability and ability to manage multiple requests/projects
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively function in a team environment
    • Experience working in an agile environment managing full product lifecycles; CSPO, CSM preferred
    • Exposure to cloud environments and PAAS
    • Experience in projects relating to migration of content and rich media content and Web design
    • Ability to work flexible hours required
    • Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail required
    • Strong problem identification and resolution skills required
    • Some travel to developing countries may be required
    • Experience working for in the social purpose or humanitarian sectors an asset

    EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
