Join the Website Development team at the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship to help facilitate acquisition of content for inclusion in a new portal targeting millennials who want to acquire the financial competency necessary to become a successful individual or an entrepreneur. The goal of our website is to empower users to reach the level of wealth that allows them to live their dream life.

We have a unique opportunity to create inspiring and entertaining scripted and unscripted content for an emerging media channel. Our focus is to inspire entrepreneurs and financial mindfulness. We are currently seeking one more intern. Ideally, someone with an interest in documentary, narrative and brand storytelling. An innovative and creative thinker who will work without team to research and develop story ideas and show formats. You will receive hands-on experience researching source material for scripted/unscripted series for programming and creating pitch material. Looking for people with creative ideas, energy and input on content.

Requirements:

• Excellent research skills with a strong focus on business and economics and what millennials want to know to be successful.
• Excellent creative writing and story concepting
• Strong Visual aesthetic and ability to evaluate production quality of existing content
• Proficient in using the computer to view video and text articles. Familiarity with YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, Reditt etc.
• Organized and self-motivated.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Experience working with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, PowerPoint or KeyNotes is a big plus
• Must be enrolled in a degree program at the start of the internship program.
• Film or Journalism degree preferred but no professional experience required.
