Help create a safe place for girls to become their best self, be part of a diverse team, and build skills that transfer to any workplace and career. After a COVID-safe summer in 2020 and 2021, Camp Newaygo is committed to making sure summer 2022 is a great experience for staff and campers. Counselors serve as activity instructors, wilderness trip leaders, capture-the-flag competitors, and role models for girls ages 7-17. Being a staff member at camp means having an open heart, a curious mind, and an inability to tell the difference between your constant dirt tan and the paint and glitter permanently embedded on your body. For 95 years, Camp Newaygo has been a champion for social justice, stewardship of the environment, and building resilient women. Discover the passion, joy, and challenge of living with and supporting 10 girls in a cabin in the woods for the summer.
