About the Role
The Childhood Cancer Society (CCS) is seeking a Project Manager – Art Department to guide creative initiatives that bring Adventure Ted™ and our mission to life.
This is an unpaid volunteer leadership role — but also an opportunity to build your portfolio with real-world creative project management experience at a nationally recognized nonprofit. You’ll manage projects that directly fuel fundraising campaigns, storytelling, and awareness efforts, impacting families battling pediatric cancer.
Responsibilities
Proven experience in project management, team leadership, or creative coordination.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mission-driven mindset with a passion for supporting families facing pediatric cancer.
Ability to motivate and inspire creative professionals while maintaining accountability.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and project management tools (Trello, Discord, etc.).
Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
Familiarity with graphic design, illustration, or digital media workflows (a plus, not required).
Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning.
