DOROT's Marketing and Communications Intern will have a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Attending 1-2 DOROT virtual events each week, generating compelling content from these events for social media, website and other marketing channels
• Contributing to the creation of new social media campaigns and other marketing content
• Assisting with department administrative duties, as needed
• Engaging fellow interns in creating content to share their internship experience through social media posts, videos, etc.
• Attending weekly Marking and Communications Department meetings

• Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Design and/or web experience not required, but a plus.
• Video editing skills not require, but a plus.

DOROT alleviates social isolation among the elderly and provides services to help them live independently as valued members of the community.
