Summer Camp Waterfront Director
- Responsibilities
- Oversee a busy waterfront (Pond) at our all girls overnight summer camp
- Responsible for safe management of the beach, boating and swim activities
- Supervise a staff of 10-15 lifeguards/swim instructors
- Lifeguard and teach swim lessons/safety
- Live on site- assist with other camp events after waterfront is closed for the day
- Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Swim Lesson instruction experience- certification a plus
- Experience working with kids in a summer camp, school or recreational setting
- Compensation$375 - $400 based on experience

YMCA Camp Foss is an overnight camp located in Strafford, NH for girls aged 8-15 years old. Located on 275 acres of woods between Parker and Evans mountains. Camp Foss provides a setting that promotes exploration and personal development. Staff teach activities such as swimming, sports, archery, horseback riding, arts,dance and more. Our staff are youth development professionals that promote the Y values of caring, respect, responsibility and honesty.
