Systems Strategy GLOBE Intern
The Student Conservation Association (SCA) has teamed up with The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) Growing Leaders On Behalf of the Environment (GLOBE) Program to offer 30+ paid internships throughout the country.
Each position comes with an orientation in Washington, D.C., followed by a 10-week internship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Systems Strategy GLOBE intern will focus on building an inventory of websites at The Nature Conservancy and will assist both Technology Information Systems and Marketing to identify redundancies and areas for consolidation.
This intern will be also be responsible for developing an inventory of TNC's websites through a series of important questions to verify the site's function and legitimacy.
This will help Technology Information Systems and Marketing put some more structure around the process for requesting new sites and identifying when and how old sites should be decommissioned.
The intern could also help develop guidelines for preferred web site platforms, and hosting options for each, that will be shared across the organization.
HS Diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduate program, or a recent graduate for Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field
Experience using MS office, Word and Excel, and navigating the Internet.
Ability to work well in a remote-team setting
Well-developed organizational skills
