Spend your summer trekking around the most beautiful locations in California while working with the Special Needs population!

Camp Krem is a summer camp for children and adult with developmental disabilities, located in Boulder Creek, CA. We are seeking Travel Camp Program staff (Directors, Assistant Director and Counselor) for Summer 2017.

Travel Camp offers the experience of camp life on the road, taking campers to some of the most beautiful and inspiring places California has to offer.

Campers will visit places further afield to see and learn interesting new things. Travel Campers sleep under the stars (weather permitting) on sleeping mats. Travel Camp is a cooperative team environment in which the campers enjoy pitching in with cooking, clean up, vehicle packing, etc. Summer 2017 destinations include Big Bear Lake, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park and more!

The Travel Camp Directors/ Assistant Director implements these travel camps during the summer. He/she will drive the camp bus (up to 17pass) on trips.

The Travel Camp staff will assist campers with developmental disabilities with outdoor activities and help campers with daily living skills.

The Directors will also train and supervise travel camp staff, keep track of inventory and supplies and monitor and function within a specified budget for each session and for the summer as a whole.

Other openings: Lifeguard, Counselor, Arts & Craft specialist, Registered Nurse, Nature Specialist, Kitchen staff

• Must be 21+ (Director/Assistant Director), 18+ (Counselor)

• Previous experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

• Clean DMV record

• Training and experience in leading overnight rustic camping trips.

• Previous experience leading wilderness trips and/or student experience with Outward Bound, or similar programs preferred.

• Possess or willing to obtain Class B driving license by the beginning of camp (training available).

• Must be available May 21 (earlier preferred) - August 16
