    Birthright Israel North America is looking for a motivated, organized and hyper-driven professional. We want a candidate who has a strong background in; campus involvement, event engagement, relationship management and/ or sales. The ideal candidate would pride him/herself on being innovative, thinking outside the box, and having a strong and relentless work ethic.

    The On Campus Engagement Associate will oversee and implement new and innovative efforts in his/her assigned region with the main goal of increasing recruitment of potential participants from his/her assigned communities and campuses.

    Primary Job Responsibilities Include

    • Structure and implement outreach proposal within the college campus culture by establishing and managing relationships with students and student organizations. Identify areas (campus and community) of great growth potential based on recruitment history within the region. Create tangible and implementable growth goals to execute both short and long-term.
    • Identify and establish strong and consistent relationships with Jewish social influencers on campuses.
    • Organize initiatives that will result in networks outreaching to eligible potential participants. Create a system of outreach on a person-to-person level.
    • Expand and innovate in the collaborative efforts of Birthright Israel’s partner organizations with assistance and support/training in an effort to help with participant recruitment, and develop new relationships as well.
    • Become a pillar of campus-community presence in the form of tabling/boothing, flyering, one-on-one, etc. as well as providing organizational training, education and strategic outreach.
    • Supervise recruitment progress and goals, both independently and with established recruiting partnerships/relationship, in order to ensure benchmarks are being met. Utilize contacts in the region to establish new partners and work with organizations to have both individuals and organization as a whole do both internal and external outreach/recruitment.
    • Plan various way of constant presence and communication to campuses/communities assigned in the region. Schedule and coordinate presence to be able to represent Birthright Israel at national and larger-regional conventions for recruitment.
    • Be able to effectively communicate to both community recruiters they are managing, as well as potential participants. Outreach on different platforms, both virtual and in person.
    • Be able to effectively, oversee various levels of interaction.

    Requirements

    • Proven successful knowledge and prior experience with high-school, college, and young adult community activities; in the form of outreach, sales and direct experience with on-campus student organizations
    • Understand the region in which he/she is assigned in terms of locations, type of person, culture, and school life (Greek, honor societies, clubs, etc)
    • Natural sales and interpersonal skills
    • Understanding of making relationship-management tangible, through reporting, documentation and results-driven tracking.
    • Able to easily manage and plan independent or collaborative events in both local and national form.
    • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Comfortable public speaking to both small and large groups
    • Leadership skills and the ability to manage people and projects effectively
    • Reliable transportation and the ability to easily travel locally and possibly nationally on occasion.
    • Comfortable and competent with Microsoft Suite
    • Possesses an ambitious entrepreneurial mindset with desire to grow
