    The Excel Ventures Program is an intensive 10-week technological venture creation program meant for aspiring entrepreneurs from leading academic institutions in the U.S., or recent graduates thereof, and promising young Israelis. The program provides outstanding Jewish Americans and Israelis who have shown entrepreneurial potential and leadership skills with an intensive summer experience in Tel Aviv, Israel and is designed to effectively empower the next generation of business leaders & entrepreneurs. The teams formed within the program engage in a fast-paced venture creation process, leveraging Excel’s vast network of industry leaders as they work on the development of innovative start-ups.

    Excel Ventures Fellows are expected to work collaboratively in teams to ultimately create an MVP by the end of the summer. The program consists of several training modules, which include: • Ideation and Team Formation • Market Research • Building a Prototype • Marketing • Fundraising During each of these modules, Fellows participate in workshops, lectures and simulations which complement the daily work they perform on their start-up.

    Through this program you will: • Gain practical experience in creating a venture while being mentored throughout the process • Develop a deep understanding of entrepreneurship through an integrative curriculum of theory and practice.
    • Obtain exposure to a community of highly motivated and talented individuals both from the U.S and Israel with whom you they will be working during the summer • Network with leading hi-tech individuals in the Israeli ecosystem

    Additionally, throughout the summer, Birthright Israel Excel Fellows attend mandatory meetings with distinguished Israeli leaders from business, technology, politics and philanthropic organizations on a broad range of topics including leadership, Jewish identity, the global economy, and teamwork. Upon completion of the summer programming Birthright Israel Excel Fellows participate in professional development and leadership opportunities to enhance their broadening global business outlook and capabilities.

    Applicants apply for admission to the Class of 2018 Birthright Israel Excel Fellowship. Dates of the summer internship program are June 3, 2018 through August 10, 2018.

    Birthright Israel Excel is a non-profit organization providing a technological venture creation boot camp as well as a summer internship program in Israel for talented American Jewish college students who are pursuing careers in technology, finance, consulting, and biotech.

    Each Birthright Israel Excel Fellow will create a technological venture or work in Israel for the summer months. travel to Israeli sites, meet with prominent members of the business, political and academic communities, and join an exclusive community of future global business and technology leaders. All expenses associated with flights, housing and group programming will be paid by Birthright Israel Excel.
