  • Responsibilities

    Environmental Field Inspection and Restoration

    SCA Interns are tasked with assisting Assist Project wildlife biologist and contract performance specialist during field inspections of multiple contractor activities on approximate 100 river mile Project footprint, with tree planting and other habitat restoration activities, and in the development of mitigation/restoration plans related to daily management of footprint. Plans typically consist of restoration of lands due to fire, wind damage, vandalism, and irrigation problems.

    • First Aid/CPR
    • On the job training.

    Educational/Recreational Opportunities:

    • During off duty time: bicycling, hiking, fishing and camping are all in close proximity.
