  • Responsibilities

    In this role you will be part of a team of Geomatics GIS professionals based in Houston, TX, providing geospatial and geodetic expertise to teams working projects across the Americas. The team is part of a wider Global Geomatics community providing a range of Delivery Themes to the business including Situational Awareness, Geospatial Data Management & Integration, Site Characterization, Asset Integrity Survey, Well and Engineering Delivery and Emergency Preparedness and Response. As part of the Geomatics discipline, you will have many opportunities to share ideas and learnings with colleagues around the world. The team’s focus is on project delivery, maintaining geospatial data integrity, providing highly reliable business-critical services, continuously improving the quality and completeness of geospatial datasets, extracting maximum value and insights from our data and expertise, developing new standards and efficient workflows, meeting new challenges, and applying the learner mindset.

  • Qualifications

    • To be eligible for the Shell Graduate Program, you should be in your final year of study or have less than three years of relevant work experience.

    • You must have a minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20

    • Candidates for regular U.S. positions must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization. Individuals with temporary visas (H-1, H-2, J-1, F-1, etc.) or who require sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire.

    • In some instances, we are able to provide work authorization sponsorship for PhD and Master’s candidates in certain disciplines.
