    What You’ll Do…

    This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

    The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time in-person internships. The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026.

    **About the Internship **

    The Global Sales team is seeking a highly motivated Data Management Intern to support data integrity, reporting, and analytics across our global customer and sales operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data systems, have strong attention to detail, and are excited to learn tools such as Salesforce and Power BI in a real-world business environment. 

    The intern will collaborate with sales operations, analytics, and cross-functional partners to ensure data accuracy and deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making within the sales organization. 

    **Your Key Responsibilities: **

    • Maintain and improve data quality within Salesforce, including account updates, record validation, data cleanup initiatives, and duplicate resolution. 
    • Conduct routine data audits to identify anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies. 
    • Support the development and refinement of Power BI dashboards and reports used by the global sales team. 
    • Pull, clean, and prepare datasets from Salesforce and other internal systems for analysis. 
    • Document data processes, field definitions, and reporting logic to enhance transparency and consistency. 
    • Work with global sales stakeholders to understand data requirements and support adhoc reporting needs. 
    • Assist with process improvement efforts, including automation and workflow optimization within Salesforce or related tools. 
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that strengthen data governance and reporting effectiveness.

     

    **Required Qualifications: **

    • Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
    • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

    **Preferred Qualifications **

    • Familiarity with CRM concepts; Salesforce experience is a plus but not required. 
    • Interest or experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. 
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning or analysis. 
    • Understanding of sales processes, KPIs, or CRM data structures. 
    • Coursework or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

    Salary Range: $26/hour for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; $31/hour for students pursuing a Master’s; $36/hour for those pursuing a PhD
