    What You’ll Do…

    This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

    The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time in-person internships. The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with Landmark Subsurface Product Management to leverage our new seismic & geologic interpretation, analysis, and modeling tools to perform a case study on a newly acquired dataset.
    • Produce a final presentation that demonstrates how our technologies can be leveraged for rapid geological interpretation and analysis.
    • Provide a detailed write-up of how this presentation can be replicated by other technical professionals in our organization.
    • Working with Product Management, provide an analysis on how the new tools enabled rapid interpretation and analysis of the new dataset compared to traditional methods.
    • Working with Product Management, provide an analysis on how the new tools compare to competitive products in the market.

    What You’ll Bring to Our Team

    Required Qualifications:

    • Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
    • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
    • Previous experience interpreting subsurface data including both seismic and well logs.
    • Previous experience leveraging subsurface interpretation tools for geological case studies.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • A self-starter with leadership capabilities, innovative ideas and the ability to effectively express ideas to team members, project stakeholders and management.
    • Be able to partner with different functions within the Landmark organization such as Product Management, Technical Sales and Research & Development.

    Relocation

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

    • Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.
    • Relocation assistance.

    Salary Range: $26/hour for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; $31/hour for students pursuing a Master’s; $36/hour for those pursuing a PhD
