    **What You’ll Do… **

    This position is located in Houston, TX.   

    The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time, in-person internships.  The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026. ** **

    About the role

    Halliburton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the oil and gas industry. The intern will support projects across multiple functions, including digital marketing, corporate communications, community affairs, events, product line marketing, and brand/creative initiatives.

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist with marketing and communications projects across various departments
    • Support digital marketing efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics
    • Help organize and execute internal and external events
    • Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
    • Monitor social media platforms, news media coverage, and communication channels for engagement and trends
    • Draft and edit marketing and communications content, including blog posts, social media updates, and internal communications
    • Collaborate on brand and creative projects, ensuring consistency with Halliburton’s brand standards
    • Maintain organized records and processes for marketing initiatives
    • Provide general administrative support for the Marketing and Communications team

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
    • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail; familiarity with AP Style is a plus
    • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Familiarity with AI tools and applications (e.g., for content generation, analytics, or workflow efficiency).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Interest in B2B marketing and the energy sector

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.  To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.
