Description

We're a fast-growing and profitable NYC-based green tech startup. We make a hardware / software SAAS solution that runs boilers (which provide hot water and heat to buildings) much more efficiently. We are currently looking for a sales associate to join our team.

This is a junior sales position, with fast room for growth.

Responsibilities will include offering support to our Director of Sales and directly initiating new sales / leads.

If you're driven, reliable, have great people skills, crave the opportunity for advancement, and want to change the world, we'd love to talk to you. We expect to triple the size of the sales team this year, so there is tremendous room for growth.

On average, our product reduces oil/gas usage by more than 20% per building, and we charge a small fraction of that savings. The company is growing exponentially and currently is used by thousands of buildings in NYC, including some of the biggest owners (among them, Related, LeFrak, and Bronstein).

Qualifications

Because the team is small (10 people, with a 3-person sales team), applicant must be:

  • Amazingly self-motivated
  • Able to take the proverbial ball and quickly run with it

Other qualifications:

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment is a must.
  • Interested in sustainability is a plus but not required.
  • Sales experience also a plus but not required.
