    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: OFFSHORE SUPPORT ENGINEER

    The Offshore Support Engineer – Graduate (OSE Grad) is the front-line engineer for the daily operations and maintenance needs of an offshore production asset in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM). The OSE Grad will support many dimensions of offshore operations including:

    • Acting as a key linkage between offshore operations team and the onshore members of the Production Delivery and Maintenance Teams
    • Providing technical support through daily troubleshooting, investigating, and problem solving to identify root causes and support threat mitigation
    • Supporting asset optimization through technical surveillance and identification/realization of production optimization opportunities\
    • Supporting personal and process safety by stewarding the management of change (MOC) process, helping offshore to recognize hazards, and participating in risk ranking
    • Participating in the Maintenance Execution process by helping operations to evaluate equipment deficiencies and providing input on repair scoping.

    The OSE Grad will work closely with other Offshore Engineers on technical matters and also personal/professional development.

    The OSE Grad is expected to grow and develop interpersonal professional, and technical skills through completion of the structured Shell Graduation Program (SGP) within the candidates engineering discipline.

    • To be eligible for the Shell Graduate Program – Offshore Support Engineer, you should be in your final year of study, pursuing a BS in Electrical or Environmental Engineering or have less than three years of relevant work experience in the
    • You must have a minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20
    • Candidates for regular U.S. positions must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization. Individuals with temporary visas (H-1, H-2, J-1, F-1, etc.) or who require sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire.
    • In some instances, we are able to provide work authorization sponsorship for PhD and Master’s candidates in certain disciplines.
