Product Services Line looking for R&D Chemistry, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering Interns: Stimulation & Intervention Chemistry Technology

What you'll do…

Interns have real company projects that are assigned during the summer. Projects you could potentially work on include:

• Formulation and performance testing of polymer-based fracturing fluid systems

• Development of surfactant chemistries for improved oil recovery

• Analysis of field operations data to optimize chemistry selection and usage

• Design of test methods for improved evaluation of chemistry effectiveness

• Development of new corrosion inhibition chemistries for acid stimulation blends

Various skills we are seeking…

• Knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry, materials science, formulation science, rheology, surfactants, and/or polymer chemistry

• Familiarity with oilfield stimulation chemistries and operational treatment methods preferred

• Wet laboratory skills and ability to design experimental test plans and analyze data

• Safety-focused and follows current HSE standards

• Strong communication & presentation skills

• Innovative, self-driven individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
