The Dow Jones Product Engineering team is seeking an agile, smart and energetic undergraduate student to join our team for Summer 2020. In this role you will gain hands-on experience and work in the engineering team, building cool applications, APIs, tools. We’re looking for someone that is ready to take initiative and put both their analytical and communication skills to use.

In this role you will:

• Build a REST API on top of a Gemfire in-memory data grid using Java
• Perform manual and automated testing
• Create project documentation

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, with at least two years of school successfully completed.
• Object-oriented programming using Java
• Exposure to building both the client and server-side REST applications
• Prefer knowledge or understanding of GIT source control
• Prefer knowledge or understanding of cloud services like AWS
