    The Wall Street Journal is looking for Product Management Intern to join the WSJ Digital Experiences team. As a member of the Product team, you will be a voice and advocate for users of our products, learning about their goals, desires and preferences. You will learn from and work alongside the product, engineering, and design teams and to create seamless and innovative experiences readers will love. Ultimately, you will be helping shape the future of how we deliver news to our customers.

    In this role you will:

    • Help the Product Team drive major projects coming from all areas of the WSJ: Newsroom, Membership, Ad Sales to name a few
    • Work with the Product Lead to ideate, research, gather requirements, and drive implementation of new product features
    • Work with our Full Stack Engineers and Designers to build and maintain Storytelling product experiences
    • Focus on and take ownership of a project or initiative that spans the course of the internship
    • Communicate across a multidisciplinary team throughout each phase of a project
    • Help develop new approaches to complex reader and newsroom problems
    • Stay informed with product management frameworks and techniques and proactively pursue knowledge for professional development
  • Qualifications
    • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field, with at least two years of school successfully completed.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Can-do attitude and a collaborative, team oriented spirit
    • Passion for identifying and solving problems (particularly in the news space)
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, plan projects, and drive results
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
    • Familiarity with a variety consumer-facing content products
    • Curiosity about the digital product management discipline
    • Familiarity with digital design tools such as Sketch, Invision, Photoshop
