    Dow Jones internships are currently planned for in person this Summer 2022, however, the ever-changing landscape may require adjustments toward hybrid or fully remote models.

    Our 2021 Multi-Media Sales (MMS) Internship Program will expose candidates to all of the facets of media sales, from ideation to launch. We are looking for highly-motivated candidates studying towards a future in multimedia and will gain practical media sales experience within our different departments.

    You have:

    • Strong written and communication/presentation skills and attention to detail
    • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Can work in a fast paced environment independently and collaboratively
    • Proficiency in different collaboration tools e.g. Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT)

    The internships will be spread across the following teams:

    US: Media Sales (East Coast or West Coast TBD)

    About the role:

    The Media Sales Intern will partner to sell integrated media solutions and partnerships to large clients. These positions support the activities of the Business-to-Business (B2B) and Technology/Telecom/Media (TMT) Advertising Sales Team by working with our client Partners, Client Associates, and planners in preparing proposals, maintaining client relations, and lead generation to achieve revenue goals.

    You are:

    • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, with at least two years of school completed.

    Sales Planning & Development

    About the role:

    The Media Sales Planning Intern will provide optimized media plans for our digital platforms to all partners.

    You will:

    • Help with launching digital campaigns promptly, including requesting assets for launch
    • Support Planning team with billing process by confirming billable amounts (1st or 3rd party)
    • Ensure all contracted media placements are provided as scheduled by sending calendar invites or reminders for buyouts/sponsorships
    • Support the sales team with sale digital campaigns securing space availabilities and reservations; enter IO to reserve inventory for all incoming accounts
    • Help with research for proposals and special projects

    The Trust - Creative Intern

    About the role:

    The Creative Intern/Assistant will work with the Custom Content Creative Team to bring amazing and unparalleled visuals of our client ideas and goals.

    You will:

    • Support the Creative Directors and Producers in their research, pre-sale creative development, image, and video reference sourcing, building storyboards, helping in creative presentations, helping in brainstorms, etc.

    You have:

    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (editing with Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). Experience in After Effects or Final Cut is a plus
    • Design, Video/Film or Art Direction degree (attained or in the process) preferred

    The Trust - Editorial - WSJ Custom Content

    About the role:

    The Editorial intern will work with the Custom Content team to create compelling copy that brings the ideas of its clients to life.

    You will:

    • Copy edit and proof content and enter copy into the content management system
    • Research topics and fact-check for articles
    • Write short articles, social media posts, program pitches

    You have:

    • Familiarity with AP Style writing
    • A Journalism degree (either attained or in the process) preferred, English or Marketing degree
