About the Role:

This Business Analyst (BA) role will report to the Head of Product Experience with a dotted line to the Director of Product. You will be working on strategic initiatives that are important to IBD for its future growth. This includes market research, competitive analysis, and decision recommendation.

This is a hybrid role, based in our Los Angeles office.

You Will:

• Analyze the Options trading market trends, competitive landscape, pricing strategies, monetization opportunities

• Understand the importance of pattern recognitions for stocks; who are the players, what is the gap between what pattern recognition we offer vs. what other competitors have in the market

• Work closely with business development, market data team, and engineering to facilitate tech deep dive, execution strategies, and partnership deals

You Have:

• Research (qualitative & quantitative) capabilities

• Ability to analyze data, summarize findings & present to stakeholders

• Basic knowledge of investment (stock, options), is a plus

• Technical background (some coding), is a plus

• Willingness to learn & collaborate with cross functional teams
