About the Role:
The Editorial Internship is part of the Multi-Media Sales Team of The Wall Street Journal | Barron's Group. You will gain an understanding of the Custom Content Industry. You will learn the journalist practice of creating custom content and become familiar with writing in a client voice.
This role is hybrid, based in our New York City office.
You Will:
Copy edit and proof content
Research topics for articles
Report and write articles
Write distribution copy
Fact-check articles
Enter copy into our content management system
Brainstorm program pitches
Assist editors
Edit multimedia content
You Have:
A journalism degree (either attained or in progress) preferred, or English or Marketing degree
Attention to detail, strong writing and editing skills, positive attitude, eagerness to learn and to take any task thrown their way
AP Style and Adobe Acrobat knowledge preferred but not required
