POSITION PURPOSE
- Support administrative needs for the Sr. Vice President for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) as well as for the 4 EHS managers. Provide technical, data and project support to the EHS teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative support for Senior Vice President and EHS Core Managers
- Support for EHS safety training such as Life Guarding classes and Exceptional Care for People leadership workshops
- Records retention coordinator; Pro Card administrator; 3E administrator
- Conduct external auditing of supplier partners for Greenhouse Gas Portable Combustible Equipment related State/Federal requirements
- Train supplier personnel regarding required Greenhouse Gas PCE reporting
- Support the EHS Lean and SDI boards/process, e.g. measure upkeep, kaizen card capture, etc.
- Support Kern County permitting process
- Correspond with external stakeholders
- Potential instructor for Advanced Driving Safety classes (Smith System)
- Maintain EHS library, including EHS internal and external websites
- Create training materials
- Special projects for EHS teams & other tasks as assigned by management (e.g. build team and SOE webpage sites in SharePoint)
- Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude
- Occasional travel to Aera field locations and supplier offices
Required Skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and the following applications/software – SAP, Sharepoint, ZPAT approvals
- Familiarity with Project Server and some planning and scheduling experience preferred
- Understand and practice Lean concepts and tools
- Ability to read technical documents, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A sense of urgency, good attention to detail, and follow-through.

Required Experience
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED
- Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program
