Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, dismantling, inspecting, repairing, modifying, rebuilding, servicing and adjusting various types of plant equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyzes breakdowns of all plant equipment and follows a practical approach to effective repairs. Answers trouble calls, performs scheduled maintenance and scheduled inspections, Makes adjustments, repairs, etc., in accordance with diagram or drawing specifications, manuals or other instructions. Troubleshoots hydraulic, electrical, electronic and pneumatic circuits, diagrams and/or drawings as required to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, modify and service all types of systems and devices. Comprehends schematics and drawings related to the maintenance and repair of all types of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and devices. Follows engineering drawings and constructs electrical systems and component parts using tools normal to the trade. Each employee is responsible in the performance of his/her duties for his/her safety and the safety of others and is responsible for maintaining his/her work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Adherence to all GMP and GAP guidelines Tools must be clean and sanitize daily and documentation completed Specified quantity of workorders must be completed weekly Monthly work order report submitted to Farm (Plant) Manager Work with outside vendors in troubleshooting automatic Packaging equipment Participate in CI projects to streamline process and foster a high- performance work system (HPWS) Assist with grounds maintenance to insure a sanitary perimeter of the facility You have: 1-3 years heavy industrial maintenance and electrical experience or successful completion of an approved Heavy Industry Apprentice Program. High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Operation of equipment including forklift, man lift, aerial lift, overhead cranes, and mobile cranes. Must exercise good judgement at all times and can complete assigned tasks, as well as, breakdown repairs without direct supervision. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to ensure minimum interruption to process. Ability to work in 23-24 degree temperature
