NH-0861-03, Internal Aerodynamics Engineer
NH-0861-03, External Aerodynamics Engineer
NH-0861-03, Flight Controls Engineer
NH-0861-03, Flying Qualities and Stability and Control Engineer
The Flight Mechanics Branch (AFLCMC/EZFT) provides air vehicle engineering support to all program offices in AFLCMC. Flight mechanics engineers are assigned to program offices to support the development and testing of air vehicle systems. They determine air vehicle flight characteristics using wind tunnel, flight test and analytical / computational data. They use computational tools to build models and databases, interpret results, and assess air vehicle compliance with performance specifications and airworthiness requirements.
