ABA is currently seeking a Design Intern who will report to the VP, Creative Director and is responsible for assisting the department with design projects. This is a paid internship with 20-25 hours/week. Key Responsibilities Include: * Creating impactful designs within the ABA brand standards. * Creating motion graphics, infographics, and animated GIFs. * Assisting designers with entering project text edits, resizing web images and graphics, and handling some rush requests. * Helping to keep projects moving when designers are out of the office or occupied with other assignments. * Providing technical assistance to design staff on video assignments. May perform some video and photo-editing tasks. * Assisting creative team in maintaining and archiving all digital files in an organized and consistent manner, including artwork, photography, and video files. Researches archives and stock resources for needed imagery and video footage. * Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design * Strong graphic design skills and excellent understanding of design principles as demonstrated in a personal portfolio. * Fluent in the use of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. * Proficient in the use of Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, and MS Office. * Detail-oriented. * Knowledge of digital and offset printing. * Understanding and experience with print and digital marketing. * Entry-level video editing and motion graphics skills using Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. * Photography skills and good eye for composing camera shots. * Ability to meet deadlines, while juggling multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Capability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and disciplines. 17 hours ago
