The Intern will work closely with members of Classical Minnesota Public Radio's Digital and Programming teams to gain experience curating classical music playlists and creating videos to publish on YouTube. Intern Structure: The Classical Music Streams & Video Internship is part-time (max 20 hours/week) and lasts until August 31, 2018. The internship is paid. Application deadline May 24, 2018 Position Responsibilities: Curate classical music playlists Create, edit and post videos Other tasks as assigned Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Currently enrolled or have earned a college degree (within 1 year) Familiarity or experience with Adobe Premiere or other audio/video-editing software. Demonstrated passion and thorough knowledge of classical music Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn new computer programs upon request Maintain strong attention to detail Preferred Skills and Experience: Familiarity or experience with YouTube Creator Studio. Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) and keywords.
