Applied Concepts, Inc., is a 43-year-old Richardson, Texas (MADE-IN-AMERICA) Product Development, Manufacturing, and Sales company. ACI is privately held and has grown from one young Engineer to a staff of 200. ACI designs, manufactures, and sells its STALKER BRAND of products Worldwide. In addition to being the domestic sales leader in police traffic radar, Applied Concepts, Inc. manufactures and sells Radar and Lidar speed measurement devices (including Sports applications), Police In-Car-Video products, along with a variety of Speed Sensors and roadside Speed Trailers and Speed Signs.

Since 1995, Applied Concepts has been using PICK MultiValue Database, and then switched to OpenQM in 2009, to operate every facet of its business. To modernize our systems, we are transitioning to Zumasys products primarily MVDashboard, for web portals, BI dashboards, online ordering, data entry tables/grids.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Programmer-Analyst to be a major contributor for our small five-person Application Development Team in maintaining and expanding applications for all departments within our company which include: a CRM for Field Sales and Inside Sales, Customer Service systems, full Accounting systems, HR, complete Engineering systems, an MRP for Purchasing, a full Manufacturing control system, Quality Control, and Shipping/Receiving.

We will be particularly interested if:

• You have a small company background and are used to "wearing many hats"
• MVDashboard development experience
• OpenQM - MultiValue Database programming experience
• UniData, jBase, or PickBasic programming experience
• Have 5+ years' experience in the Delphi RAD environment
• Some networking experience (Linux)
• Some Windows desktop experience
• PHP/HTML5 development experience
• JSON, Java, Python and JavaScript development experience

JOB ACTIVITIES:

Reporting to our Programming Group Manager, you will maintain and develop a variety of applications for use by all of our in-house departments that increase efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must live near, or be willing to move to, the Dallas, Texas area
• A four-year degree with 10 years' experience
• A two-year degree with 15 years' experience
• Strong communication skills
• Pass a drug screening test
