    We are actively searching for an Assistant Service Repair Technician to join our service team in the Manchester, Tennessee area.

    In this role, you’ll provide support to the Service department by investigating and repairing a variety of roof types. You’ll work closely with a Lead Service Technician in your assigned demographic region to help deliver quality solutions to our clients.

    Job Duties:

    • Work with Lead Service Technician to investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
    • Work to develop skill of determining leak location and common leak issues by Roof System Type
    • Demonstrate safe working environment
    • Develop advanced knowledge of all roof systems and roof system components
    • Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
    • Meet schedule and requirements of Clients
    • Perform quality repairs with no callbacks due to workmanship
    • Demonstrate understanding of warranty and non-warranty repair types
    • Responsible for learning and operating service software (FCS)
    • Assist to collect data for proposed scopes of work

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Roofing knowledge and experience preferred
    • Preferred experience in construction and/or working with hand tools
    • Ability to obtain OSHA certification
    • Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs.
    • Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
    • Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
    • Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
    • Must pass be able to complete and pass pre-employment drug screening

    5. Ability to track and maintain computer databases and statistics, using computer software related to word processing, spreadsheets, and databases,
    6. Experience related to research with knowledge of research principals, methodologies and study analysis.
    7. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels and general public.
    8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

    6. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
