I.T. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – LEVEL III
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
As a valued member of our team, the I.T. Maintenance Technician will need to be detail-oriented, thorough, and organized in order to play a key role in providing support for all areas of I.T. The candidate will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on support within our organization, as well as work on the day-to-day maintenance of pc’s and I.T. systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including the following; other duties may be assigned)
Planning, Management, and Delivery of assigned I.T. projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project
Sets and tracks project milestones
Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff
Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
Resolves internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers
May perform system setups for new hires
Performs other related duties as assigned
Sets up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
Works with other I.T. staff members to maintain an organized and tidy I.T. storage area and Server room

Skills & Qualifications
Must be organized with attention to detail
Possess a valid Driver’s License
Exhibit excellent analytical and logical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
Be proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
You will also “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the I.T. infrastructure
Ability to provide instructions to users over the phone
Be familiar with IP cameras’ installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Electrical experience is a plus
Crystal Reports experience is a plus
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Having knowledge of VMware, Citrix, and Firewalls is a plus
Education/Experience
Three or more years of related experience.
Preferred but not mandatory experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field.
Language Skills
Candidate must have effective communication skills in the English language in both written and verbal form.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours to be discussed during the interview. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travelling locally and nationally might be necessary to perform job related tasks or to attend training seminars, conferences, and events.

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to climb concrete plants’ staircases or structures to perform I.T. related tasks such as installing and/or adjusting security cameras and/or install or troubleshoot Wireless Access Points.

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Constant travel to concrete plans to perform tasks such as installing security cameras, troubleshoot phone issues and wiring, Network problems.
