PARTS CLERK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

As a valued member of our team, you would be responsible for inventory control, executing shop administrative tasks, and organizing day-to-day functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including the following; other duties may be assigned)

-Compile Parts research and availability for inventory needed.-Review order points and quantity with supervisors.-Establish/maintain accounts and parts inventory levels.-Storing, labeling, and organizing parts inventories.

-Issue parts as requisitioned.-Determine parts dispositions as needed.-Order and receive inventories into our RTA Fleet Management Software.-Report on a daily basis work orders and activity reports.-Track and process purchases

-Manage the parts inventory for the main shop

-Issue parts as requisitioned

-Assist in parts purchasing

-Handle warranty part ordering/returns

-Process and manage receipts, payables, and invoices from suppliers

-Manage vendor performance for timely repairs and invoicing

-Answer telephone dealing directly with customers and vendors

-Inform/Schedule preventative maintenance service with customers

-Accurately input work requests into our system

-Other tasks as required

Qualifications

-Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

-Barcoding experience

-Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills-High degree of accuracy

-Good time management skills

-Regular, predictable, full time attendance is an essential function of the job

Education/Experience

-High School diploma or GED

-2 years of parts inventory experience

-1 year of inventory management experience preferred

Language Skills

-Effective oral and written communications skills in English language

Reasoning Ability

-Ability to work independently
