    We are now hiring a Fleet Manager based out of our Mountain View office. The ideal candidate is an organized and service oriented individual that manages our company’s fleet including our employee car program, while providing high quality service to our internal employees. This position reports to the Director of Safety & Environmental health. The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Handle new vehicle acquisition, repair and maintenance for all company vehicles including replacement vehicles and rented/leased vehicles.

    Plans, directs and monitors preventive maintenance and repairs program.

    Communicates with vendors and field personnel to coordinate vehicle delivery, maintenance and replacement vehicles for locations that are experiencing emergency shortage.

    Resolve inquiries and urgent requests in a professional and efficient manner, providing high quality service and communication to all key stakeholders.

    Ensures the inventory control of the fleet for accurate record keeping.

    Responsible for the administration of employee assigned vehicles, including delivery, maintenance and incident reporting.

    Ensures compliance of all company procedures and policies as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations (EPA, OSHA, DOT, ADA and EEOC).

    Responsible for all vehicle incident reporting, employee injury reporting, research, investigation and repairs. Works closely with HR and Safety to provide cost reporting for incidents.

    Coordinates registrations, titles and ensures proper documentation is kept on file for each vehicle. Performs audits for employee DOT files.

    Successful candidate criteria:

    College degree in Business Administration or related field and/or 3-5 years of previous related work experience.

    Prior experience in purchasing vehicles and upfitting.

    Proficiency in Microsoft office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook as well as Adobe or similar programs.

    Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
