Role Summary: The Artificial Lift Systems Project Engineer (PE) function reports to the equipment Project Management Office (PMO) within the ALS Technology organization. The PE is the product centers focal point for the execution of customer facing project specific special testing per the ALS equipment PMO processes. Special testing is conducted on selected strings of ESP equipment based on customer requirements. Typically, these requirements qualify ESP systems for customer acceptance and are conducted in ESP string configuration confirming system interfaces and hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical performance. Essential Responsibilities: * Manage the execution of Project Specific System Performance Testing (String Test / System Integration Test) within the Project Management process per the project specific requirements including but not limited to: * Test Statement of Requirements evaluation * Test plan development * Test plan budget * Test plan execution * Managing project equipment * Ensure each project specific test is scheduled, executed, and closed per the test procedure per PMO specifications * Support ALS Applications Engineering as required facing customer testing inquiries * Assists with trouble shooting down-hole ESP equipment and topside power and controls systems in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life * Provide solutions to enhance system performance for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) system based on well performance * Configuration and integration of power and control systems as pertains to ESP equipment * Quickly adjusts to changing job assignments/requirements and the flexibility to work overtime with little or no advance notice * Handles special projects as assigned * Some domestic and international travel may be required * Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required * 3+ years of experience in Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) products * Experience in ESP application * Proficient in English both written and spoken * Strong communication and presentation skills * Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products * Advanced problem solving skills Desired Characteristics: * Design and/or validation experience with ESP products * Proven knowledge and understanding of well completions and installations of ESP systems for lifting production fluid * Experience in subsea/offshore completions and ESP applications * Experience with surface packages and electrical control systems for ESP equipment Locations: Claremore, OK Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
