Description This is an entry-level BIM intern role to primarily support the Regional San EchoWater Program at the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Elk Grove, California. The individual will work with the PMO project team to deliver high quality BIM solutions, updating BIM workflows, BIM Execution Plans, Revit project templates, and generating various BIM work products for the program. Duties: Support of the project 3D CAD/BIM designers assigned to all the capital projects under the program. Support the development and implementation of the several BIM uses and BIM workflows for the Program. The BIM uses include 3D Visualization, Virtual Reality (VR) walkthroughs, 3D Coordination, Design Authoring, Design Reviews, Existing Conditions Modeling, Site Utilization Planning, Cost Estimation, Content Scheduling and Sequencing, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and Asset Management. Support design projects in CA and across the Region. Key Skillsets: Autodesk Revit and Navisworks project review software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in an agile project delivery environment Leverages the strength of teamwork Takes initiative, is accountable, and makes things better Preferred Skillsets: Managing and supporting the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC4D/5D) and Virtual Reality (VR) teams.
