Part-time Member Advocate ($1000 Sign-on Bonus)
This Role Will Be 100% Work-from-Home! $1,000.00 sign-on bonus. This assignment will run from September to the end of 2021. However, this is your chance to make an impression. Advocates who successfully complete training will earn $17.00 per hour. (bilingual Spanish speaking will earn an additional $2.00 per hour). The pay-rate for the training period will be $15.00 per hour. Advocates will receive a $1000 sign-on bonus! *$500 paid after completion of training, remaining $500 paid at the end of Annual Enrollment (December). We will provide a two-week training program prior to "going live". Newly hired Advocates will accumulate roughly 40 hours of training time for each of those first two weeks. Training will be a combination of live virtual classroom training and self-paced coursework (all completed from your home). - Each Member Advocate will be given up to 80 hours of training within the first two weeks of the assignment - Training will be a self-paced eLearning curriculum - Daily "question and answer sessions" are voluntarily available - Five mandatory classroom training sessions will be required within the first two weeks The Gig: -Answer a broad range of inbound calls (in support of clients) in a professional, energetic, and positive manner -Respond accurately and thoroughly to caller inquiries and document call detail accordingly -Must be a resourceful and creative problem solver who can constructively work with members of the team to find solutions. -Ensure compliance in all areas of processing, completing all transactions timely and accurately -Take accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution Work under general supervision following established procedures What You Need to Make the Cut: -Strong customer-centric mindset -Must be comfortable with technology - we are a technology company! -Competitive, team player who strives for excellence -Self-starter with a positive, upbeat attitude -Strong interpersonal skills to find success in every opportunity -Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills -Healthcare benefits or insurance industry experience (preferred but not necessary) BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) - In This Role You Will Utilize Your Own Technology, We Require: -Internet connection of 15 Mbps or greater -Windows 10 Enabled PC/Laptop or MacBook (Chromebooks and Tablets are not supported) -A headset that includes both speakers, but also a microphone, that will allow you to clearly and consistently handle calls from our clients
