Laundry and Dry Cleaning Pick-Up Delivery Driver Job Description C&C Laundry Center - Brooklyn, NY $13.50 an hour - Part-time C&C Laundry Center provides a full range of washing, drying, drop-off, pick-up/delivery and dry cleaning services. We utilize quality products and high efficiency machines. Customer service excellence is our priority right along with providing our customers with high quality services. We are looking for a driver who will pick-up and deliver laundry and dry cleaning to our customers. The driver will ensure that professional, friendly and prompt services are provided to each customer. Responsibilities Include: * Carefully review orders scheduled for the day * Safely operate a vehicle * Properly follow routes * Load and unload orders * Label customer orders, include instructions provided pertaining to customers requests * Work collaboratively with store attendant to process orders * Keep vehicle that is utilized for laundry and dry cleaning services in pristine condition * Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs. and more, and ascend and descent flights of stairs * Report any issues, incidents or delays immediately Skills Required: * Must have an outgoing personality and excellent in establishing relationships with new customers and building and maintaining relationships with existing customers * Previous experience in making deliveries * Excellent communication skills * Strong work ethic * Honest and reliable * Excellent organizational and time management skills Other Qualifications * Must have a clean drivers license * Must past a background check and drug test * Must have valid state ID * Must be able to speak, read and write English * Driver must have their own car (SUV or large vehicle preferred) and insurance * Must have at least 1-2 years experience in doing deliveries in a vehicle * Must not be a smoker The work schedule that were looking to fill at this time is as follows: Mondays 5:30PM-9:30PM Wednesdays 6:30PM-9:00PM Fridays 5:30PM-9:30PM Saturdays 7:15AM-1:15PM Sundays 2:45-8:45PM Salary is $13.50 per hour Job Type: Part-time Experience: * commercial driving: 1 year Education: * High school Location: * Brooklyn, NY Language: * English Required work authorization: * United States Trucking freight handling: * Load/unload by hand Lease purchase program offered: * No Trucking payment: * Hourly Trucking route: * Local 1 hour ago - save job Apply Now Please review all application instructions before applying to C&C Laundry Center.
