CARLISLE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS is seeking an ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS MANAGER in CARLISLE, PA.  This position will oversee the development, implementation and use of ERP systems, while working closely with other departments, IT staff, outside vendors and consultants.  This person will be responsible for determining user requirements, recommending practical solutions, and leading efforts to improve the effective use of technology.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enhance organization effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
• Accomplish information technology staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results: coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Manage implementation and support of all ERP systems.
• Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and IT teams.
• Verify application results by ensuring the testing procedures and maintained and are appropriate for ensuring quality systems.   
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

• Extensive knowledge of SAP systems
• Experience with SAP upgrades
• Proven ability in IT planning, organization and development
• Ability to develop people and teams
• Project management, testing and change control methods
• Building both internal and external business relationships
• Proven ability to apply the right technology to solve a business challenge
• Ability and desire to research and apply appropriate new technology

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.  3+ years ERP experience will be considered.
• 5 years management experience preferably in an IT or manufacturing environment
• SAP experience required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Up to 25% travel is required for this position.  Travel will include overnight and may include weekends.  Travel will be primarily in the US but could also involve out of the country travel.
