JOB SUMMARY:

The Hunter Panels Marketing Department is looking for a full-time intern for the first semester of the school year to work in our Portland, Maine office.

The Marketing Intern would receive high quality training and supervision from an energized and experience full-time staff. Interns will gain experience in developing and executing marketing plans and promotions as well as have involvement in tracking and analyzing advertising and social media campaigns. Interns will assist with CRM integrations, website analysis and other digital programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist with auditing current Hunter Panels website and literature link tracking
• Audit inventory of bundle labels at plants and confirm revision accuracy
• Work with rep groups and assist them with signing up for Hunter University courses and trainings
• Assist account managers with updating customers in CRM system
• Organize digital assets and digitize historical data
• Participate in market research to investigate competitors and complete SWOT analysis for each
• Assist with scheduling and organization of trade shows and promotional items
• Support marketing team with other event planning items i.e. sales meetings, staff events, customer meetings
• Assist in tracking and analyzing advertising and social media campaign data: Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Retargeting, Newsletters and all other advertising buys
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Enrollment in or completion of Business Administration post-secondary program, preferably with a marketing major
• Strong understanding of digital and e-marketing: Google Ad Words and Social Media Platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience using MS Office
• Experience with Adobe Suite preferred
• Detail oriented with great time-management skills
• Passion and drive reflective in all work
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
