Assists the Family Stabilization Director with the daily and overall operations for assigned site in the Family Stabilization Department, and in coordination with management and/or the Regional Director ensures the efficient operation of the food pantry; 2. Coordinates clients' care by providing case management and supportive services to clients and/or their families in order to promote self-sufficiency, and meets with each client as required by the program or based on client needs; 3. Responsible for assigning work to staff and ensuring the work is performed in an efficient, prompt, professional and accurate manner and provides guidance, as instructed by the Program Director or Assistant Director; 4. Responsible for developing, monitoring, evaluating and following up on client progress; 5. Advocates for clients with regard to financial, state/federal benefits, housing, education, child care, skill testing and development programs, job training, job referral and/or treatment programs and knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services; 6. Works collaboratively with other staff, departments, and/or community partner agencies to obtain resources for clients and participates in community outreach efforts; 7. Assesses if clients are eligible for financial assistance, accurately and expediently processes the necessary documentation to process their applications and follows up when necessary; 8. Maintains up-to-date and accurate departmental files and databases as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations, and is responsible for maintaining routine and ad-hoc reports as necessary; 9. Conducts home inspections, recognizes unsafe or potentially unsafe situations to ensure safety at all times and communicates with chain-of-command when safety concerns arise; 10. Must maintain a flexible schedule to attend community events, committee meetings and special events, as needed, and must be willing to travel between sites to fill in for staff, including food pantry staff, as needed. Preferred Requirements: MSW. Three years of Case Management Experience. Minimum Requirements: BSW. One to two years of Case Management Experience. Other Requirements: Drivers license and reliable transportation.
