Requisition ID#387889 Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: * Processes all bulk movement transactions and allocations (including pipeline, marine, rail, truck, etc.) at proprietary and/or third-party terminals on the US West Coast. * Processes Bunker Delivery Notes (BDNs) to ensure accurate and timely billing of customers. * Engages in direct interaction with suppliers, customers, pipeline and vessel operators and other operations personnel at offsite storage locations to inventory, purchase, sell, or trans-ship products to other terminals. * Balances all receipts and deliveries for products, execute agreed to book transfers and maintain the appropriate scheduling system as the system of record for all nomination changes (including those changes originating from trades). * Communicates directly with PSAT Traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interaction with 3rd parties. * Performs some or all the following tasks: scheduling, blending, quality control, loss prevention, operational analysis, etc. * Optimizes economic fuel blends and costs. * Manages inspection costs and ensure all costs are invoiced accurately and product testing slates are updated as needed. * Develops and implement work process improvements to minimize demurrage. * Share best practices on desks and maintain close understanding of operational costs and optimization initiatives. * Ensures all compliance and local customs documentation requirements are in place for all movements. * Maintains a strong focus toward incident-free operations as well as continuous improvements in operations. * Maintains strong relationships with external industry contacts as well as internal supply chain stakeholders. * Maintains close relationships with the Value Chain Optimization (VCO) Supply Planner and Value Chain Analyst to drive improvements to the overall supply chain and distribution costs. * Manages the credit hold process for all sales nominations. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with a preference for a technical degree (maritime, mathematics, engineering, chemistry, etc.) * In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of three years of experience in marine and/or pipeline transportation system operations will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: * A minimum of 2 years of experience in marine and/or pipeline transportation system operations (for degreed candidates) * Able to function in a fast-paced environment; proven team performer with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders; able to prioritize and manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks; able to convey complex issues and thoughts clearly, orally and in writing; able to provide significant 24/7 coverage. * Knowledge of basic IT applications, including Microsoft Excel.
