The Procurement/Supply Chain Management (P/SCM) function works in partnership to strategically leverage and manage this spend with a focus on operational excellence and the total cost of ownership represented in the supply chain. The P/SCM function collaborates within Chevron and across the companies we work to deliver goods and services to Chevron safely, reliably, and at a competitive cost. The functions strategic processes include: Category Management, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, National & Local Content, Market Intelligence, Procurement Operations and Supplier Diversity/Local Content. Procurement/Supply Chain M.B.A. Analysts: Business Analyst will gain a better understanding of Chevrons business and learn more about its people and culture. This program will provide the participants with a variety of unique experiences that will serve to develop and broaden critical skill sets and competencies as they progress in their development towards leadership roles within the organization. P/SCM Business Analyst will be asked to complete a variety of tasks and may work on several projects simultaneously. The position conducts various supply chain analyses, internal and external market research studies, as well as data and process analysis for Procurement management and cross-operating company procurement teams. Frequent interaction with leadership, senior managers, current program members, and program alumni can be expected. Assignments include supporting Category Management, Contracting, Procurement Operations and other P/SCM activities that support the Technology, Projects & Services, Upstream & Gas, or Downstream, Chemicals & Shared Services organizations. Assignments are driven by organizational and business needs.
