Requisition ID#363214 Resposibilities -This position is a night position -Perform activities in the Tank Yard and Loading rack (TTLR) areas. Example: Gauging and sampling tanks, walkaround inspections, performing product receipts, repair/replace laoding rack equipment, tank water draws -Maintain terminal records. Example: Inventory records, maintenance, Vapor Recovery, GACT, Plant Maintenance, daily inspection checklists. -Perform Inventory Reconciliation -Assure compliance with Operating Procedures, Safe Work Practices and Work Permitting contractors -Assis intraining contractors in the Loss Prevention System (LPS) and Safe Work Practices -Assist in training and certifying new drivers on loading procedures -Actively support the Health, Environment and Saftey (HES) processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable rules,regulations and policies. -Perform LPS observations on contractors, drivers and other Chevron employees Required Qualifications -High School Diploma or equivalent -Valid Drivers License -Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance repairs (mechanically inclined) -Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays and be able to respond to emergency situations as the arise. -Ability to manage time effectivelyand work with minimal supervision -Ability to operate fuel testing devices and computer systems -Must be able to meet all the physical job requirements including climbing stairs, working on storage tanks greater than 20 feet in height, and lift 30-35 pounds -Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and an aptitude for computer based training packages -Clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written -Work well with others with strong team player skills Preferred Qualification Skills -1 year experience in the petroleum oil & gas or petrochemical businees -Nearest Major Market:Atlanta
