This job announcement will be accepting applications until 29 October 2024. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate Integration & Operations Division (AFRL/RIO), is seeking to fill a DO-0301-04, Senior Leader position located in Rome, NY.
Position duties include but are not limited to:
- Leads all activities of the Integration and Operations Division, exercising delegated authority to oversee the overall planning, direction, and execution of a diverse support organization which includes the branches of Civil Engineering, Logistics, Communications and Computer Systems, Workforce Relations, Information Protection, and Security Forces.
- Formulates technical plans that encompass the support areas in preparation of facilities and infrastructure necessary to effectively execute the Directorate's Science & Technology program.
- Participates fully in all aspects of the Directorate's technical support program development, direction, execution and independent planning for support of critical
- scientific/engineering activities.
- Assess AFRL/RI needs regarding support related issues and represent AFRL at appropriate working groups, seminars, steering groups, meetings, and conferences.

Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Applicants must be able to obtain, or already have, and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade, DR/DO-03/GS-13/14 or equivalent in other pay systems.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a government supervisor and/or team leader managing a diverse group of employees (various labor series, academic degrees, and job skill certifications), including creating an effective culture for innovation
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with research personnel, program managers and senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, build consensus, and identify and resolve conflicts/problems with the workforce
- Master’s degree or higher preferred
