POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Director USA Operations, this role will focus on Process breakdown and design of new steps to do business in a more successful way, analysis and data integrity will be a key role to achieve important results. The successful candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills; ability to identify or recommend changes, must also be proficient in the use of analytic tools. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement process changes in every port operation where Chiquita is present.
Educating business users to manage and operate system and business properly.
Monitor inventory flow through the system. (All kinds)
Process documentation to have a library of knowledge.
Observing, Receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Analyzing Data or Information
Use of intercompany systems and programs. Excel as primary, entering data and set up functions
Communicating with internal and external customers
Decision and Problem solving, analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
Organizing, planning and prioritizing work
Ability to Meeting deadlines and work in a fast pace environment
3 years’ experience in the logistics field. (Ports related it’s a plus)
Bachelor’s Degree required

20%-30% of the time will require to travel and work at the Port locations

JOB ENVIRONMENT:
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
Candidate may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
Candidate may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during normal workday
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
