    Job Description

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Marketing Forecast Manager will be part of the Operational Marketing and will report to the Marketing Planning & Operations Director.

    He/She/They will work closely with the Brand Marketing teams as well as cross functionally (Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Omnichannel, Sales ops, etc.) to help maintain control and challenge POSM budget (code 3) in line with the marketing strategy.

    He/She/They will also assist in tracking orders and delivery of all the POSM to the region working closely with the sales ops, VM and regional teams.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Scope: Dior PC North America

    FORECASTING:

    Consolidates and challenges POSM forecasts from POSM line owners, ensuring forecasts are in-line with strategic priorities, budget guardrails, and forecast best practice (e.g., replenishments) for all menu code 3 forecasts (novelty POSM, GWP, goodies, samples, t-shirts, uniforms, basic menu, etc.)

    • In charge of structuring and pre-filling the budget file with all initiatives for the year and corresponding material based on Marketing Plan, in collaboration with Brand Marketing teams
    • Weekly check of the Dior catalogue to follow up on changes and updates regarding Code 3 as well as Code 1 and 2.
    • Ensure forecasting tool is up to date (coordinate reconciliation with supply team tools FM) to ensure teams visibility is accurate
    • Send weekly emails (to each department involved in FM run) to:
      • inform on next coming FM run (with all relevant documents) to ensure an ongoing and smooth process
      • send updates in material forecasted and possible recommendations (design, price, cancellation, replacements, etc.)
      • send updates on overall “Code 3 Menu” budget status
    • Drive inventory management excellence by leading monthly decision making on saleables and non-saleables (e.g., use plan for leftover inventory, destroying unused inventory)
    • Help in setting up main working documents prior to Budget for the FY
    • Manage quotas modification forecasts (with supply and FMR when needed) and coordinate actions after forecast modification requests feedback
    • Update regional supply team and master file after validating with Product managers
    • Challenge departments on forecasts and previous under consumption
    • Passover to Supply to input data in FM (Future Master)

    _FOLLOW UP ON ORDERS & DELIVERY: _

    • Coordinate actions based on inventory availability
    • In charge of alerting and following up on POSM orders and challenge consumption with planners and Regional Managers (ex: alert when POSM is available (with testers), alert at end of availability, (follow up with supply team to ship remaining material or postpone in FM if needed).
    • Manage quota issues with supply team and sales ops
    • Follow-up on logistics questions / issues
    • Organize allocation to each department for invoicing at beginning or end of availability as needed (for each department to keep track)
    • Prepare a short regular email about POSM consumption (frequency Tbd)

    FORECASTS ANALYSIS & REPORTINGS

    • Run forecasts file in an ongoing process (updated from budget definition until OCD)
    • Analyze forecasts value and actual consumption versus budget

    Qualifications

    • 4-5 years of experience in marketing or planning function with strong forecasting and budget experience
    • Strong analytical, comfort with figures, Excel and PowerPoint
