POSITION OVERVIEW
Support digital communication strategy for U.S. Dior Beauty Public Relations. Manage communications tools, platforms, and analytics for the U.S. across all three categories – makeup, fragrance, and skincare – to maximize Dior’s visibility, relevance, and engagement on all digital and social media platforms. The position supports the global digital communications efforts of Dior’s headquarters based in Paris. To remain a leader in the U.S. market, the role is responsible not only for the support and implementation of global efforts, but also for consistent innovation on a local level.
Responsible for the support and execution of digital strategies that benefit the business cross-departmentally. The role must liaise and communicate internally across all departments in North America, such as Marketing, Media, E-Commerce, and Fashion Public Relations. This role partners with One Dior Public Relations Managers to support and/or execute both influencer activations and editorial stories.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the US influencer and digital communications strategy. Be intimately familiar with the key players within the industry, and outlets they utilize, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, affiliate programs (RewardsStyle, etc.), TikTok.
- Ideate and execute cross-departmental initiatives including, but not limited to, influencer activations, content strategy, retail events, paid media campaigns, digital marketing campaigns.
- Track, organize, and interpret numerical data acquired from Tribe and LVMH DMR to analyze data proactively and better understand the Dior digital landscape, generating ideas on how the brand can grow effectively while aligning to Dior’s image.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with influencer/talent agents for long- and short-term partnerships and activations.
- Work closely within the communication team to cultivate the image of Dior and therefore better impact all influencer posts, the quality of posts, and the volume of posts to align the brand properly amongst brand competitors in the digital world—using numerical metrics to guide tracking.
- Work with Marketing, Media, Sales, Retail Events and E-Commerce to ensure any paid/sponsored posts and influencer initiatives are targeted properly from analytical data acquired.
- Work closely with the E-Commerce team to ensure success in driving sales and traffic to Dior.com.
- Plan and execute local influencer events/activations with the support of the Public Relations Coordinator and Assistants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top, mid-tier, and micro-influencers and their teams, agents, managers, etc.
- Execute and track all mailers to influencers—analyzing the data to compile a target list, organizing the mailing, tracking the findings, reporting the outcome and creating learnings for future projects and growth.
- Research competitive activity to ensure Dior is actively growing in this landscape.
- Foster and maintain relationships with key digital editors.
- Manage professional development and growth of the Digital Communications Coordinator.
