    City Wide Maintenance is currently seeking a Staff Accountant within our dynamic and reputable organization. In this Staff Account role, you will provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements. You will be responsible for assisting with month-end close for City Wide Maintenance of Kansas City, while supervising the completion of month-end close for City Wide Maintenance Window Washing.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Assist with month-end close for City Wide Maintenance of Kansas City, while supervising the completion of month-end close for City Wide Maintenance Window Washing.

    Facilitate the month-end allocation process and reporting.

    Responsible for Operational AR Aging Reviews working closely with the Collections Specialist and Billing Specialist.

    Calculate monthly commissions for Sales and Operations and facilitate the approval process.

    Assist and facilitate in the annual budget process.

    Review daily bank transactions.

    Review and assist Account Receivables.

    Be fully cross-trained and function as a backup for all accounting roles: Contract Administrator, Billing Specialist, Collections, and Accounts Payable.

    Other duties as necessary or assigned.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

    Minimum of 5 years general accounting experience

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

    Experience with Automated Accounting software, Dynamic Great Plains or Business Central preferred

    Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

    Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.

    Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

    Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.

    Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.

    This position is a full-time role, non-exempt classification, with the work schedule as Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Salary: $45,000-$55,000
