    Are you an experienced accounting professional with friendly personality and a knack for customer service? City Wide is looking for a hard working accounting professional that enjoys working in a team, supporting others, and solving problems. Opportunity Includes:

    $15 per hour

    4 hours per day Tuesday - Thursday

    Responsibilities:

    Posts customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactions.

    Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from local deposits.

    Maintains records and updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.

    Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;

    Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.

    Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.

    Make collection calls/emails to resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history.

    Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.

    Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

    Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    Detail Oriented - All accounting positions require an eye for detail, and this position is no exception as you will be performing bookkeeping services.

    Accuracy - Being able to take the time to double check your work and ensure that the Franchisees are accounting is accurate and free of clerical errors.

    Problem Solving - This person must be able to take the initiative by identifying problems and seeking out a resolution in a timely manner without being told to.

    Accountability - While all of these traits are very important to our organization, accountability is a must to ensure that we maintain transparent communications, while solving problems quickly.

    Requirements:

    Desired Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or work equivalent.

    Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.

    Intermediate experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

    Automated Account Software systems, Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
