Learning and Development Specialist
City Wide Franchise, family owned and locally operated, continues to grow and expand its corporate office team as it becomes a Top 100 franchise brand. We are searching for a Learning & Development Specialist in this exciting position that wants an opportunity to support our training solutions that improve business results. This new team member will design and develop computer-based training, instructor led training, and other learning solutions. The position requires understanding adult learning principles, gathering and analyzing business/functional requirements, managing multiple projects and plans and managing a robust Learning Management System (LMS).
In this career opportunity, you will…
Design and develop eLearning and instructor-led training programs based on adult learning principles,
Produce dynamic multimedia content for eLearning using software to construct courses and programs,
Develop job aids such as online training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and eLearning tutorials,
Oversee our LMS – create interactive online classes, manage training reports, and provide end-user support,
Perform needs analysis to identify training needs and objectives, project manage training development and coordination with other team members,
Support Franchisees on-boarding process

You will have…
A Bachelor’s Degree in curriculum or instructional design or closely related field,
At least three (3) years of successful experience in course development/design,
Expert understanding of instructional design theory, online learning systems, best practices and current research/theory in adult online learning,
Excellent time management skills and detail orientation,
Knowledge of eLearning and related software, including: Adobe Creative Suite with Articulate or Captivate
Proficiency in MS Office SuiteAbility to collaborate, influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and work in a team-based environment.
